My Story

How I went from an early school leaver at the age of 16 with a failed Junior cert to opening a successful business with my now wife where we have helped 1000’s of people meet their health and wellness needs.

Before there was a successful business and over 1200 one-one consultations delivered with people from all shapes and sizes and walks of life, there was a young man in his late 20’s that had nearly spent half his life working in a job that didn’t bring him much joy or fulfilment. 

Most of my life, I struggled with the emotional impact of being dyslexia in a school system that was very one dimensional left me with extremely low self-esteem/confidence. From there I created a lot of limiting beliefs that did not serve me well for most of my teens and early 20’s such as everyone else’s needs are more important that my own, I’m not good enough to achieve anything good, nothing good ever happens me. That left me feeling angry, frustrated with the people that was closest to me and a lot of sleepless nights.

The biggest decision of my life however came in my early to mid 20’s when I started back exercise and playing sport. From there I started to work on my mindset and challenged my beliefs that lead me into a Journey of personal development and setting a goal to get back in the driving seat of my own car (my life). I started to look at my own needs and how I could meet them.

The more I identified my needs and started to meet them the more my life started to flow both personally and professionally. From there I changed my career from construction to opening Me Time Training, going back to education to complete an advanced diploma in both Mental Health & Wellbeing, Personal leadership & Executive coaching and qualifying as a fitness professional. We have worked with 1000’s of clients in 1-1 and group settings, with corporate companies, colleges and schools. 

My fundamental belief is that behind every parent, wife/husband, child, worker, business owner there is a human being with their own needs. My passion is to help you understand your emotions, reduce the feeling of frustrating, getting overwhelmed with day – day life to help people achieve the life they want to have.

Isn’t it rather ironic, What I thought all my life was my biggest weakness (dyslexic) has turned out to be my greatest strength.
